HTAV 2025 AGM and Awards Ceremony - 30 Apr 25
HTAV warmly invites you to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) where you can participate in shaping your Association, meet the new HTAV Board members and network with fellow members.
Attendees will have the opportunity to join a HTAV exclusive tour of the Hellenic Museum. Meet Jo Clyne, Education and Learning Programs Manager, who will showcase some of the museum’s fascinating exhibitions. Jo will also outline how the museum’s on-site programs are aligned with the History curriculum and the opportunities available for teachers and students to participate in object-based learning and other educational programs as well as accessing their online educational resources.
The AGM will be followed by the conferral ceremony for the 2025 HTAV Awards, the launch of the National History Challenge 2025 and an exclusive tour of the Hellenic Museum.

The formal proceedings will be streamed live online if you cannot attend in person from 5.45pm – 6.30pm if you cannot attend in person.

About the AGM
The business of the AGM will be completed as efficiently as possible.

At the meeting, members will have the opportunity to:
- learn more about HTAV’s operations and finances
- ask questions about the operations and finances of HTAV
- speak about any items on the agenda
- vote on any resolutions proposed.
At the meeting, members will be asked to vote to:
- accept the minutes of the last AGM
- accept the Annual Report
- accept the auditor’s report
- endorse the appointment of the auditor for the 2024 financial year
- endorse the appointment of newly elected directors (i.e. Board members).
Proxy votes
If you cannot attend the AGM but wish to exercise a Proxy vote, please complete the Proxy form. Please remember the elections will have been held prior to the meeting, and so voting at this meeting is only to endorse the election outcomes.
Please note that only one representative can vote on behalf of a school/organisation membership.
Proxy forms must be received by HTAV no later than 48 hours prior to the AGM, being 5.00pm, Wednesday 17 April 2024. Please send it via email to admin@htav.asn.au.
