HTAV's Executive Officer on SBS's Insight!

9 Oct 24

Dr Deb Hull, HTAV Executive Officer, was in Sydney last week to take part in an episode of Insight for SBS.

It was the annual collaboration between SBS and NITV, where a topic related to First Nations people, culture and history is explored. This episode focused on ‘Recognising the Past’ and explored a wide range of perspectives on everything from colonial statues to climbing (or not climbing) mountains that are considered sacred sites.

There is a segment at the end of the episode on First Nations history in the curriculum and in history classrooms in schools.

The show aired on Tuesday 8 October and is available to watch on SBS On Demand (a free SBS account is required).
